About the organization
You will join a leading financial institution focused on digital transformation and customer-centric banking. Within the Customer Engagement domain, the team develops technology for marketing automation, outbound communications, and data governance across multiple channels (app, web, email, SMS, push).
The role
As a Solution Architect (Azure, Marketing Data, Salesforce/Adobe), you will design scalable and secure data-driven marketing processes. You help teams automate outbound communications, integrate data governance, and streamline customer journeys — always ensuring privacy, GDPR compliance, and security.
You will collaborate closely with the area architect and stakeholders across IT and business, bridging strategy with hands-on technical design.
Key responsibilities

Architect solutions using Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL, Databricks).

Implement and optimize marketing data platforms/CDPs (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, Microsoft Dynamics, BlueConic).

Translate business needs into customer journey models and performance-driven marketing solutions.

Safeguard compliance and data privacy (GDPR).

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your profile
✅ 5+ years in IT, including at least 3 years as Solution Architect, Lead Data Analyst/Engineer or Business Analyst.
✅ Strong experience in Azure data solutions.
✅ Solid background in marketing analytics, customer journey mapping, campaign performance tracking.
✅ Experience with Salesforce, Adobe, Dynamics, or BlueConic.
✅ Familiar with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or DYA (certification is a plus).
✅ Knowledge of compliance, GDPR, and security.
✅ Bonus: Pega CDH, Data360, or GenAI in marketing.
✅ Languages: English & Dutch (mandatory).
